About Me

About Ms. Renn

I am a graduate of Summit High School, Class of 1999.  I spent the next 4 years of my life in Colorado at the University of Colorado at Boulder where I received a BA in Biology and Psychology.  I spent my summers there and even lived in Vail for a few months.  After college, I moved to San Diego, CA and worked at a biotech company called PhotoThera where I performed studies on rats using laser treatment for stroke.  I moved back to NJ in January 2004 and worked as a substitute teacher in Summit for a year and then I began teaching biology and environmental science at SHS in September 2005.  By August 2007, I received a Masters in Education from Seton Hall University.  I have taught Biology, Marine biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Environmental Science in the past, but I now teach full schedule of AP Psychology, which I wrote the program for last year.

I live in Summit with my 3 children, Jamison, Riley, and Addison.  Jamison is in first grade at Jefferson School.
